These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the detoxifi mobile application (the "App") operated by Detoxifi LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
detoxifi is a screen time control application that blocks access to social media applications on your iOS device, including Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, Reddit, and Threads.
Important: By design, detoxifi does not allow you to selectively unblock apps or disable active blocks. Once a block is set, the only way to remove it is to delete the App entirely from your device. This is a core feature, not a limitation. By using the App, you acknowledge and accept this behavior.
You must be at least 17 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
The App requires authorization through Apple's Screen Time framework (FamilyControls) to function. By granting this authorization, you permit the App to:
You may revoke this authorization at any time through your device's Settings, though doing so will prevent the App from functioning.
The App requires a paid subscription to access its features. Subscription options include:
All payments are processed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms for in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Free Trial: The yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
Refunds: All purchases and refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store policies. We do not process payments or refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of managing your own screen time. You agree not to:

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not guarantee that the App will successfully block all social media access in all circumstances, as functionality depends on Apple's Screen Time framework.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DETOXIFI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You acknowledge that the App is designed to restrict your access to certain applications, and you accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from this restricted access.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Detoxifi LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
The App, including its design, code, content, and branding, is the property of Detoxifi LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device and canceling your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Detoxifi LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
